  • This is a rare bike/model produced in 1973 and 1974 in small numbers, mainly for the American market. As the pictures show, the bike is very nice. In reality, this is a crosser, with slightly lower power and higher gearing, but registered for enduro/road riding. The engine is Husqvarna's first with 5 gears and the gearing on the left side. This bike was produced in 1973 and probably stood at the factory until 1976 when it was sold new to a Swede in Norway. It was registered in 1976, got a new owner in 1979 and was deregistered in 1981. After that, it was raced until it ended up as a project in a couple of garages. I took over the bike mostly in carrying bags and with a broken crank and a defective engine. I have spent 7-8 years rebuilding it, but am now too old to use it - let alone start it. It has been built up with a lot of new parts:
  • The engine is factory new and comes from a collection in Sweden.
  • The carburetor (Amal) is also factory new (it was installed on the engine)
  • New VAPE/Powerdynamo electronic ignition
  • New tank
  • New stainless steel screens
  • Newly built wheels
  • New tires
  • The bike/engine was started for the first time last week and was ridden a few km. Unfortunately, the pot burned a hole in the seat.... It must be expected that some adjustments etc. will be required in the first period if the bike is to be ridden. The bike MUST not be sold so I am not interested in frivolous, shameful offers, but I would like to see an enthusiast take it over.
