It is with a heavy heart that I am selling Svarten, which has been with me for 26 years. I have owned the bike since 2000 and bought it in 2001. It was used daily and for trips at home and abroad until the fall of 2008, when a more modern bike was purchased. After that, it has been ridden every year, 100-500km. The current mileage is 61,000, but it is reasonable to assume that it may have done 161,000?

Before my ownership, mileage approx. 20000km, 1999/2000,

Repainted in original colors, BMW smoke silver, general overhaul of the bike, rebuilt the tops for unleaded gasoline, rebuilt/improved the front brake by moving the master cylinder to the handlebars with parts from a newer model, this gives significantly better braking effect.

Installed heated grips. Upgraded to electronic ignition.

I don't have the original parts from the rebuild, but I'm pretty sure these can be obtained from the previous owner.
