Harley-Davidson Museum

Milwaukee is the place where Harley-Davidson was established, and where they launched their first motorcycle in 1903. Few, if any motorcycle brands, are as legendary and iconic as Harley. The museum, located at 400 West Canal Street, in central Milwaukee, displays a rich selection of models from 1903 to the present day. I've been across the "pond" for a visit, and in addition to well-known and beloved classics such as the Knucklehead, Panhead, Shovelhead and Evolution, you can see products such as scooters, small speedboats, and last but not least prototypes of engines that were never put into production. I recommend spending at least a full day, because on the two floors there is a lot of exciting stuff to digest. The museum shop is also "mandatory", at least if you ride a Harley, and want to take home some equipment or clothing with the famous "Bar and shield" logo. Here is a small selection from my visit to Milwaukee.
