Eds MC- og Motormuseum

EBE Sport 172-cubic, 1927 model. Produced by EBE-Verken in Åmål.
It is widely known that the Swedes have, and have had, a significant industrial production, and several well-known and unknown motorcycle brands were made on the other side of the national border. I took a trip to Eds MC- og Motormuseum to take a closer look at the motorcycles in the exhibition, and saw a number of exciting models.

Husqvarna 110 SV, 1933 model
The museum, which covers an area of 1,000 square meters, can display a very comprehensive collection of motorcycles, with an enormous range of brands and models.

Monark Sport 172-cubic, 1928 model
Husqvarna is perhaps the most famous motorcycle brand of the "Søta bror", but it is only one of a number of small and medium-sized Swedish motorcycle manufacturers. After a tip from an acquaintance and a visit to the museum's website, it was enough to get my old Harley going and head southeast in the direction of Ed.

Suzuki XN85 Turbo.
It was a nice ride on winding roads through Østfold, across the national border and into Ed where the museum is located. The museum offers a number of motorcycles that I barely knew existed, and last but not least well-known classics produced in Japan, Germany and England.
