Trondheim Ride 2026

Frank Gebler from Germany on his BMW R75 1942 model, heading for Trondheim
This year's Trondhjemsridt gathered a total of 106 participants from Norway and abroad, and the start was from the Aircraft Collection at Gardermoen on Saturday, June 13. The race is open to motorcycles manufactured up to 1954, which means that the bike park is of good old vintage. The Trondhjemsridtet is a tribute to the race of the same name that was first organized in 1919. That time the race was Oslo-Trondheim round trip. Talk about a test of strength for tough motorcyclists on rough surfaces.

The 4-day Trondhjemsridtet is the only Nordic motorcycle event that is held in collaboration with FIVA, the international association for the protection of historic vehicles. The organizer, Norsk Veteran Motorsykkel Club knows the art of preserving both motorcycle history and, not least, the race participants, and the finish line is in Trondheim on June 16.
