Season opening at Tyrigrava

With temperatures approaching 20 degrees Celsius in the air, Wednesday 22 April marked the start of the motorcycle season at Tyrigrava south of Oslo. The parking lot was packed, and even though the long arm of the law, in close cooperation with the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, had taken up positions both north and south of "Grava", there were only happy faces to be seen.

We don't like fines, but we also don't like savages on 2 wheels who are not only a danger to themselves, but also to fellow road users who have taken their motorcycles out of hibernation after a long winter and a long-awaited motorcycle season.

Then just mark the Wednesdays in the calendar for the next 6 months, because then those who live in the Oslo region will know that "Grava" is the destination.
