The Roundhouse; a little piece of Ace Cafe in Gjøvik

The round kiosk is classic and the menu nostalgic. What could be better than a tasty sausage in bread, a real burger, or a baked potato, and a cup of coffee and soft-serve ice cream for dessert? The kiosk, run by Bjørn Engebretsen, has brought together motorcyclists from the Mjøs region since the 1980s, and the place is nothing less than a small piece of Ace Cafe in Gjøvik, for the match for "machine park" you will have to look far.

For motorcycle enthusiasts in the Mjøs region, Thursdays in the summer months are synonymous with informal motorcycle meetings at Rundkiosken, and the fact that the Thursday meeting has become so popular is largely thanks to motorcycle enthusiast Kai Hansen. He runs the Facebook page "Rundkiosken MC" where the Thursday meetings are advertised and pictures are published. After yesterday's visit, I must admit that the motorcycle community at Rundkiosken is not far behind similar meetings at the legendary Ace Cafe in London, where I have been several times. The number of classic motorcycles gathered in terms of brands and models was simply unique, and here are some of the highlights from Rundkiosken on September 3rd.
