Rule Britannia

In the 1900s, England was considered a "superpower" when it came to motorcycle production, but by the beginning of the 80s most of them were gone. Only Triumph held on for a few more years, until the last model, a Bonneville T140W TSS, left the factory in Meriden in 1983. But then things happened, and former greats such as Triumph , Royal Enfield and BSA are now "back in business".

As I have mentioned in previous car parades in January, we are in the countdown to this year's MC-Messe in Lillestrøm, and I would like to think that there will be many nice classic English motorcycles to see that weekend. Until then, we are warming up with some goodies from the classic period, or perhaps we should say the "golden age" of English motorcycles. Rule Britannia!
