Retro by Royal Enfield

The Enfield Cycle Company was established as early as 1893, and the company produced pedal bicycles, lawnmowers, guns and, not least, motorcycles. The first motorcycle badged Royal Enfield came in 1901 under the slogan "Made like a gun".

Royal Enfield was one of the major English motorcycle brands, offering customers a range of small, medium and large motorcycles. The Meteor 700 was one of the largest British twin models of its time. At the beginning of the 1970s, the brand experienced a sharp decline in sales figures, and production in England was ended.

Royal Enfield India
In 1953, licensed production of motorcycles was established in Madras, India, under the auspices of Royal Enfield India. Many probably associate the brand with India. However, there is a truth with modifications, because in 2015, the company Royal Enfield Limited was established in England, with locations in Leicestershire and Birmingham. The stage was set for a new and modern motorcycle from the legendary brand, in a retro style with clear lines back to the classic British twin concept.

The new generation
The new generation from Royal Enfield in England was the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650. The two models carry the typical English heritage, the 2-cylinder 650 cubic meter. Here, Royal Enfield has also been tactical by giving the engine an output of 47 hp so that it falls under the A2 class. Smart, as the good sales in Europe also testify. The two models Interceptor and Continental GT combine classic design, with modern technology, and a very favorable price tag. For just over 100,000, - you get a brand new motorcycle. Now this year's sales brochures consist of more models than the Interceptor and Continental GT, and if you want to know more about Royal Enfield's 2025 models, you can go here: www.lazyboyz.no
