Wednesday MC at Tyrigrava

Ole Andreas Thomasgaard stopped by with his BSA Spitfire from the 60s
After a visit to Tyrigrava on Wednesday evening, there was no longer any doubt; spring is here, and so are the bikers. The barracks were full, hundreds of motorcycles and the smell of coffee, waffles and hamburgers, just the way we like it at "Grava".

Blue smoke from the 80s represented by a pair of sharp 2-strokes from Yamaha
The motorcycles that come on Wednesday nights are generally of the modern variety, with lots of plastic, digital displays and fuel injection. However, a couple of blue-smoking 2-strokes represented by Yamaha RD350 took us back to the 80s.

Modern technology in classic packaging. Triumph knows the recipe...
The occasional retro machine was also to be seen, and a Thruxton - Bonneville obviously doesn't go unnoticed, but draws long looks when the owner pulls the tight wire for a brief moment.

Experiences and ideas are exchanged over the gas tank of a BSA Rocket 3.
The sun is setting, evening is falling and the air has a faint whiff of exhaust from machines heading off in different directions with happy owners on their way home.

Honda CB750Four, the motorcycle that changed everything
What could be better than an evening in the sun, kicking tires over a cup of coffee among like-minded people? And, next Wednesday it's "back to business".
