MC2000; a look back

When MC2000 was held at Sjølyst, this was the second to last time the motorcycle trade fair was held there. The new trade fair at Lillestrøm was now under construction, and in March 2002 the motorcycle industry gathered for the last time at Sjølyst. I have looked through the trade fair catalogue that BIKE published in connection with MC2000, and here is a little look back at what was happening on the motorcycle front 26 years ago.

The next motorcycle fair is "right around the corner", more specifically in Lillestrøm, February 27-March 1, 2026. If we are to believe what the organizer writes about the registration so far, there will be a lot of great things to see for those with an interest in classics and veterans, and I will bring you readers a full report here at classicmc during the weekend when the fair is taking place.
