Since the weather gods have not been very cooperative in Sunnmøre this season, it was not difficult for the members of the Ørsta/Volda Veteran Carriage Club to gather when the sun peeked out on the last Sunday in September.

The meeting at the heart of Voldsfjorden, more precisely on idyllic Fyrde, was hosted by Jørn-Inge Håvik. Behind the "leverages" was the club's long-time chairman Nils Tore Aarseth, who had provided coffee and cakes for the occasion for those in attendance.

Nils Tore helped establish the club in 1980, and has since then been a key player in a club that brings together veterans and classics on 2 and 4 wheels in the Ørsta/Volda region.

The autumn meeting pulled a number of great cars, and not least motorcycles out of garages and sheds, including a neat Indian from 1911, and some great Suzukis from the 70s, to name a few of the vehicles on display this Sunday in September.
