Drottningr Mc Eastland

As I pull into the parking lot in front of the Powerplant Mc Mideast clubhouse on Holter, I catch sight of them standing around a bunch of customized Harleys. The laughter is flowing, and the atmosphere is great. I quickly notice the rock style of clothing with long hair, black jeans, leather vests and tattoos. We're talking about queens of custom here, and that's exactly what they are; the MC club "Drottningr Mc Østlandet".

The club was established in 2024, and only has 7 members. "We are a close-knit group, and are very good friends," says Ann Lill Rønning, president of "Drottninger Mc Østlandet". When asked by me what the motive for membership is, the others unanimously say "it is the unity and the social aspect". Not unexpected, because unity and community are something that characterize the MC community. As mentioned, the club has 7 members, and the other 6 are: Rachel, Tonje, Linda, Lisa, Tone, and Birgit (not present).

Tonje Smestad from Gjøvik. Is the club's Road captain, and rides Harley-Davidson Street Glide, 2010 model.

Ann Lill Rønning from Jaren. Is the club's president, and rides Harley-Davidson Fat Boy , 2009 model.

Lisa Giovannini from Oslo. Rides Harley-Davidson Sportster 883, 2001 model.

Linda Jørung from Dal. Rides Harley-Davidson Street Bob Dyna, 2014 model.

Tone Sculz Fjeldberg from Hov. Is the club's treasurer. Rides Harley-Davidson Sportster 48, 2012 model.

Rachel Renstrøm from Jessheim. Rides Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200, 1989 model.

"It's about unity and friendship," say the two queens Linda and Tone.
