Amcars Fuel Fest and a bunch of classics

Amcar's 50th anniversary celebration "Fuel Fest" at Nova Spektrum on Saturday, June 14th was a success, and of course there was room for motorcycles during the anniversary party, and not just cars.

Amcar has played its cards very strategically, and now gathers large parts of the car hobby under the same umbrella. That they opened up clubs that gather enthusiasts around car brands manufactured outside the USA was a chess move. A large membership gives financial weight, and increases the competence of the organization. It comes in handy in times when the authorities at home and abroad need a factual counter-voice in cases where reason is put under pressure. Not all bureaucrats will accept that motoring is culture and a social arena. What about the motorcycle community? Will Amcar include them in the organization on an equal footing with the car community? The answer to this question will come soon here on classic.mc, so stay tuned. In the meantime, you can enjoy some great classic motorcycles that were on display at the Fuel Fest in Lillestrøm, and which suggests that motoring is something that Amcar is by no means uninterested in.
