For many 16-year-olds, Yamaha's lightweight LS2 was the dream bike of the 70s. From a distance, the 2-cylinder 2-stroke could look like a heavy motorcycle, and not least the sound from the two exhaust pipes could remind you of the same. Two streaks of blue smoke were tougher than a train, and the 100cc with the tiny 2-stroke twin is today a collector's item that has achieved high classic status.
