Tempo Villiers Luxury 125

Tempo Villiers 125 ccm, 1951 model
Tempo Villiers Luksus 125 was a popular, reliable and simple light motorcycle. The engine with the code 10D was reliable, and very economical to operate with a fuel consumption of about 2.5 dl per mile. The electrical system was very simple and consisted of a 6-pole flywheel magneto that provided power to the front and rear lights, as well as to the ignition system. The 6-volt system with a 30-watt light bulb did not exactly dazzle oncoming traffic, but on winding country roads without street lights it provided decent enough visibility in the dark. About 350 examples were produced in the period 1951-1953.
